To be a Personal Licence Holder in England and Wales you must first take this online course. The BIIAB APLH Level 2 (Award For Personal Licence Holders) Course gains you the qualification needed to apply for your personal licence in England and Wales, which is essential if your role requires that you authorise alcohol sales, including designated premises supervisors, retail managers, restaurant and bar managers and any other persons that want to progress into these positions.
The course is split into two stages:
Stage 1 – Online Training Course:
Upon booking you will be given access to the online personal licence course, this course contains all the learning necessary to move onto stage two, the APLH Level 2 exam. The course can be taken at your own leisure with the ability to stop and start as you please, once the course is complete, learners will be able to progress to stage 2.
Stage 2 – Online BIIAB APLH Level 2 Assessment:
The exam is multiple choice and will take 40 mins. Once the APLH Level 2 assessment has been passed you will receive a BIIAB certificate of qualification (this is what you need to apply for a personal licence)
This is an e-learning course so can be taken from the comfort of your own home or anywhere with internet access at a time convenient to you. All’s you will need is access to a computer with a camera and a quiet space to take the exam.
Our assessments are carried out via a multiple-choice exam and administered by the BIIAB. This makes the Award for Personal Licence Holders a nationally-recognised accreditation that employers will recognise.
Most other course providers still use paper exams which can mean waiting up to 7 days for your results and a further week for your certificate – Hospitality Training Solutions offer same day results as standard with the APLH qualification and a free same day resit if required.
